Assessment

Structural Crack Repair — Complete Restoration Process
Structural Cracking Before Repair:
Severe structural cracking through an internal masonry wall, with vertical cracks extending through the finished surface.
This project demonstrates our complete approach to repairing significant masonry cracking, from opening up the damaged area and installing stainless-steel reinforcement through to rebuilding, plastering and finishing the wall.
The repair was carried out in carefully controlled stages to reinforce the affected masonry and create a durable, professional finish that blends into the surrounding existing wall.
Stainless-Steel Helibar Reinforcement:
The damaged wall was opened up to expose the masonry and prepare the cracked block joints for reinforcement. Stainless-steel Helibars were installed into the prepared block joints and secured with specialist resin to provide additional reinforcement across the cracked area.
Stainless-Steel EML Mesh Reinforcement:
Stainless-steel EML mesh was mechanically fixed over the repaired wall using stainless-steel screws and washers. SBR bonding agent was then applied to prepare the reinforced surface for the strengthening render.
Sharp Sand Render Applied:
Sharp sand render was applied over the reinforced wall to strengthen and rebuild the repaired area, creating a sound base for the final plaster finish.
Multi Finish Plastering:
Multi Finish plaster was applied over the repaired section to create a smooth surface and carefully blend the repair into the surrounding existing wall.
The Result
The completed repair combines stainless-steel Helibar reinforcement, mechanically fixed stainless-steel EML mesh, specialist bonding treatment and a reinforced render build-up, followed by professional plastering and painting.
The repaired area has been carefully blended into the surrounding wall, leaving a clean and durable finish while preserving the appearance of the existing interior.

This bay window required specialist masonry crack repair after significant cracking and deterioration had developed through the brickwork. The affected joints were carefully prepared and reinforced using stainless-steel Helibars before the masonry was reinstated and finished to blend with the existing brickwork.
The Result
The completed repair restored the affected bay window brickwork while retaining the appearance of the existing masonry. Stainless-steel Helibar reinforcement was incorporated into the prepared joints, followed by careful making-good and finishing to achieve a clean, sympathetic restoration.
Bay Window Brickwork Crack Repair — Specialist Resin Injection & Brick Restoration
This section of the bay window had developed significant cracking through the brickwork, including deterioration around the arched masonry. The affected area was carefully repaired using specialist resin injection through the crack, followed by restoration of two damaged bricks, repointing and detailed colour matching to blend the repair seamlessly with the surrounding brickwork.
